I do not understand what you mean by that.

THANK YOU MIGHTY CHICKEN GODDESS!!!

Your story was so phenomenal this week! I know I already commented on it, but I think it was my favorite out of everything.

Aww, thanks! I'm blushing! I am so glad it's gotten such a good response, too. And kind of amazed!

But of course! That was a cool story!

To start:

I generally like your stories, and I'm impressed by how many different types of stories you've written. This one, I had difficulty getting acquainted with the setting in the beginning because it was a bit abstracted and the characters and setting were only very generally sketched.

About around the fifth paragraph, I got a much better sense of what was going on, and I really liked the story from there on in, once the characters were clearly delineated as two separate people.

I definitely liked the ending, and I liked the fact that nothing was really explicitly stated in detail, but it was clear enough what had happened and then her reaction explains to us why he did what he did. I think I would have had an easier time getting into the story at the beginning if we had started seeing things more specifically from the female protagonist's perspective from the beginning.

I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you have any questions about it!

I just realized through a friend of yours that I made the rec list... I didn't even know you did rec lists. Thanks so much!

Oh you're welcome!

That's also so nice to see that people who aren't in LJI are actually reading the entries.

Awwww thanks!! :)

And I would always love concrit!

I don't really have much critical to say this week! I loved your story. I thought the opening, with the pop culture references, was great to help get you into the story and set it within a framework. I thought the pacing is spectacular and you really managed to do a good job of telling a childhood story from a childlike perspective, which can be hard to do when you're looking back at something in hindsight.

I am uber-behind at reading my f-list, but a belated thanks.
