So, The graphics for the Shiver My Timber message board are complete. This means we can start putting up the informational pages and people will actually know what it is about!
Admittedly, though, the secrecy is fun.
It is also, in other news, my 25th birthday. Thanks nadav for the cute little gir, and Mikey got me a light box! WOO this means I can actually ink things. WOO.
One. Quarter. Century. When you put it that way, I sound aged.
Safe trip home to haruspexy. EEEEE WRITING. Best birthday present.
And now, two more of my Backward Interviews
1. What's the best dream you've ever had?
Best dream? Well, I'm using it for the premise of a novel, so I'd rather not say, other than the fact that it involved a starlet.
I had a great dream about visiting hell when I was in high school.
2. Of all your obsessions... what's your biggest obsession?
Gosh, I don't really have anything I think I'm totally obsessed with. Other than writing. I love to write. I have a lot of things that amuse me to no end, but if they all went away and I had a notebook (and preferably a net connection so I could write with people), I would be okay.
3. What do you think is the oddest thing you obsess over or collect?
Well, I only collect 2 things-- Barbapapas and Pez Dispensers. Currently, I'm loving the Sir Francis Lovell thing, but I'll probably be over it in a couple weeks.
4. Where all did you live growing up(both real places and pretend)?
Lived in Williston Park, then East Williston (a whole six blocks away.) Moved to Poughkeepsie for school, now in Manhattan. Imaginary places? Sherwood Forest. The Golden Hind. Paris in the 1830s. London at the turn of the last century. On boats. A lot of boats. I played pirates, immigrants, explorers...lots of boats.
5. Uh... How big is God?
Bigger'n a thimble but smaller'n a breadbox?
1) If you could only eat one food/dish for the rest of your life, what
would it be?
Oh, I know this one. :D Soup. You can put ANYTHING in broth and call it soup. If that doesn't count, I would probably pick a nice salad with a lot of veggies and different kinds of protein in it.
2) You have to lose one of your senses. Touch, hearing, sight, taste, or
Definitely smell, as long as it didn't affect my sense of taste.
3) What's your favorite movie?
I have to pick two, because it's my way of showing the scope of the kinds of films I enjoy. Breakfast at Tiffany's and Night of the Hunter
4) Can you think of a word where the letter "y" is the only vowel?
5) Do you speak any foreign languages fluently?
Nope. I speak a little French and less Italian. I'm trying to teach myself a code I wrote though.
